The Flow of Life

Life force energy flows from its source through you as a living being. The statement, "you are what you eat" is only partly true. It is true that when you consume food you store energy in your body that can be used later. However, as a conscious entity your being is an expression of the very same energy that keeps the planets in their orbits, that fuels the sun. This energy has many different names throughout the world. In English we call it spirit, in the Chinese chi or qi, in India prana, and ki in the Japanese.

This universal concept has its basis in all of the mystical traditions as well as in particle and quantum physics. In the Tao Te Ching, this energy is described as flowing from the void, the absolute space between particles, even the tiniest sub atomic particles, and eventually manifests as living beings and inanimate objects in our world.

The flow of life is only in the present moment and is ignorant of the duality that humans cling to as morals, laws, standards, and convention. The flow of life is sometimes called "the current that knows the way" and is considered "what is" and is always to be greeted with gratitude in a truly spiritual existence.

The word "righteousness" has been mistranslated as "being good" when in reality true righteousness is "seeing good" in everything situation that arises in our lives.
